Starbucks rolls out Snoopy-themed merchandise globally

Starbucks and Peanuts will introduce a worldwide merchandise collection on September 15, featuring Snoopy, Woodstock, and other beloved characters from the iconic cartoon. The limited-edition lineup—available in U.S. stores, Canada, Europe, Asia, and other international markets, includes 10 items, such as drinkware, a Snoopy plush, a mini tote, a bag charm, and enamel pins. Availability will vary by region, with supplies lasting only until stock runs out.

The partnership celebrates the 60th anniversary of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, which premiered in October 1966, while also supporting Starbucks’ autumn strategy beyond its returning Pumpkin Spice Latte. Among the collection’s highlights is a Snoopy glass cold cup priced at $39.95 in the U.S., complete with a Woodstock straw topper, a pumpkin-colored hat, and a green scarf. Additional U.S. prices include $32.95 for a stainless steel cold cup and a Great Pumpkin tumbler, $27.95 for a 24-ounce cold cup, and $29.95 for a ceramic mug.

Accessories extend to a $34.95 Snoopy plush, a $16.95 bag charm, a $29.95 mini tote, and a $14.95 enamel pin set, though prices may differ outside the U.S. All items are limited to while supplies last. Starbucks Rewards members in the U.S. will also gain access to exclusive online merchandise, including Snoopy sweatshirts and hoodies priced between $69.95 and $79.95, a $39.95 scarf, and a larger canvas tote.

Starbucks Reserve members will receive further exclusives, such as a Peanuts characters crewneck for $69.95, a $29.95 characters tote, and a $39.95 Snoopy corduroy hat. The launch builds on Starbucks’ trend of expanding into collectible merchandise, following the success of past limited-edition items like its viral Bearista cold cup, which sold out rapidly. This move comes just three weeks after the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte and seven new fall drinks, reinforcing the company’s approach of pairing seasonal beverages with nostalgic merchandise.

The Peanuts collaboration reflects Starbucks’ broader strategy of transforming seasonal and pop-culture partnerships into retail events. By linking the Snoopy collection to the Great Pumpkin anniversary, they combine autumnal themes with fan familiarity to boost sales across multiple markets. The limited release creates urgency, while the cross-brand appeal, spanning coffee cups, apparel, and accessories, attracts a broader audience than seasonal drinks alone.
