Agoda and ETG expand listings via RateHawk partnership

Agoda will integrate millions of new lodging listings into its booking system after signing a deal with Emerging Travel Group (ETG), broadening its hotel offerings across Europe, the United States, Latin America, and the Middle East. The collaboration, revealed on October 15, 2026, links Agoda’s platform to ETG’s inventory through the RateHawk API, eliminating the need for guests to move between different booking sites. This API-based connection supports seamless cross-platform reservations.

The partnership establishes a reciprocal distribution model. Agoda will gain access to ETG’s global properties, while ETG’s clients, including travel professionals, corporate travelers, and individual bookers, will discover more Asian hotel options through Agoda’s network. The two companies operate distinct brand portfolios: Agoda specializes in Asian travel, whereas ETG oversees RateHawk, ZenHotels, and Roundtrip, catering to diverse traveler segments.

Danil Dachkevitch, Agoda’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, emphasized that the alliance merges Agoda’s regional expertise with ETG’s broader inventory network. He observed that modern travelers often compare options across multiple platforms, making unified access to listings essential for conversions regardless of booking origin.

For hotels participating in ETG’s network, the integration introduces an additional sales channel. Properties managed by ETG may now appear on Agoda, while Agoda’s Asian inventory will feed into ETG’s systems. However, neither company has disclosed the exact number of new listings or whether pricing structures or booking conditions will be affected by the change.

ETG’s expansion into Asia serves as a primary motivation for the partnership. The group has identified East and Southeast Asia among its five fastest-growing markets, with bookings there climbing by an average of 30% in 2026. Nikita Elagin, Managing Director of ETG’s Consolidator Business Unit, stated that Agoda’s extensive Asian hotel selection would enhance ETG’s ability to serve both leisure and corporate travelers in the region.

The technical foundation of the deal is the RateHawk API, which enables travel providers to embed search and booking functionalities directly into their existing platforms. Erik Akhmetgaliev, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific at RateHawk, confirmed the API would facilitate a smooth data exchange between ETG’s inventory and Agoda’s system. This move aligns with a larger industry trend: in September 2026, RateHawk reported a 78% year-over-year surge in API-driven reservations for the first half of the year, with its partner ecosystem now encompassing 1,800 companies.
