Guerlain unveils three new beauty novelties

Guerlain has unveiled three new beauty products, available since 5 May, each with distinct features and limited-edition packaging. The Shalimar Millésime Rose reimagines the brand’s 1925 Shalimar fragrance, emphasizing rose notes. The Kiss Kiss lip product returns in a redesigned formula, while the Terracotta Summer Glow joins the brand’s makeup line as a limited edition.

Shalimar Millésime Rose blends Centifolia rose absolute from Grasse with Damascena rose essence and rose water for freshness. Delphine Jelk, Guerlain’s perfume director, combined these with Shalimar’s signature vanilla, opoponax, and patchouli notes. The result is a warm, amber-toned fragrance that nods to the original’s oriental inspiration.

The relaunched Kiss Kiss offers 20 ultra-pigmented shades in a refillable, slim case. Its Mughal-inspired bottle features arabesque patterns and a rosy bat logo with gold accents. The formula includes hydrating honey, beeswax, and royal jelly, creating a “kissproof” lipstick that lasts longer without compromising comfort.

Terracotta Summer Glow, the latest limited-edition makeup, arrives over 40 years after the original Terracotta powder. Its packaging, designed with a Moroccan artisan, includes a sun graphic in green, white, and gold mosaic. The product uses 28% less packaging and features 96% naturally-derived ingredients, including Moroccan flower honey.

The makeup offers two bronzing tones with golden undertones and two blushing shades—pink and coral. They blend to create a sun-kissed glow, suitable for face and eyes. The formulation’s silky texture and hydrating properties aim to enhance skin while providing color.

Guerlain’s new releases include variations across fragrance and makeup categories. The Kiss Kiss line now spans EDT, EDP, L’Essence, and Extrait, with the latter being the highest concentration. Each product reflects the brand’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and artisanal collaborations.

The Terracotta Summer Glow complements the Terracotta Golden Dunes collection launched in March 2026. Its refillable design aligns with Guerlain’s efforts to reduce environmental impact. The product’s limited availability and unique packaging highlight its exclusivity.

Shalimar Millésime Rose’s emphasis on rose notes contrasts with the original Shalimar’s amber base. The updated formula balances fruitiness and warmth, appealing to modern tastes while honoring the fragrance’s heritage. The relaunch underscores Guerlain’s strategy to blend tradition with contemporary appeal.

The Kiss Kiss relaunch’s polymer-based formula improves wear time, a feature not previously available in the line. The 20 shades cater to diverse skin tones, expanding accessibility. The refillable case reduces waste, addressing consumer demand for sustainable beauty products.

Terracotta Summer Glow’s Moroccan-inspired packaging highlights Guerlain’s partnerships with local artisans. The collaboration emphasizes craftsmanship and cultural heritage, aligning with broader industry trends toward ethical sourcing and artisanal design.

Guerlain’s latest offerings span fragrance, lipstick, and makeup, each with unique formulations and packaging. The brand’s approach balances innovation with legacy, targeting both longtime fans and new audiences. The products reflect ongoing efforts to merge luxury with sustainability.
